TOPIC: PLANE GEOMETRY

ANGLES GEOMETRY

Angle is a measure of rotation. Angles are formed when two or more lines meet or intersect. There are different types of angles depending on their sizes. The basic types of angles and their diagrams include:

1. Acute Angles
These are the angles that between 0 and 90 degrees i.e greater than 0 but less than 90 degrees.
It is diagrammatical represented thus:

2. Right Angle

This is an angle that is 90 degrees
It is diagrammatical represented thus:

3. Obtuse Angles

These are the angles that between 90 and 180 degrees i.e greater than 90 but less than 180 degrees.
It is diagrammatical represented thus:

4. Reflex Angles
These are the angles that between 180 and 360 degrees i.e greater than 180 but less than 360 degrees.
It is diagrammatical represented thus:

PLANE GEOMETRY FACTS

In solving plane geometry problems in mathematics, there are some facts that we must know. These facts are highlighted below:

1. ANGLES AT A POINTS ARE EQUAL TO 360 DEGREES

The sum of all the angles that make up a point is 360 degrees.
